Smarters Pro’s publisher information describes smart-TV availability as expanding, and platform pages can differ over time. Verify the current LG store listing for your model and region before assuming a native app is available. An Android APK is not an installer for webOS.
Use the television’s store
A web search result or an Android download button does not establish a webOS build. Search the actual LG store and compare the publisher with its official site.
Treat conflicting pages cautiously
A marketing article and a platform download page can be updated at different times. The current listing for the device is the practical installation check.
Choose a supported alternative
If the native app is unavailable, use another legitimate player supported by that TV or a compatible HDMI device. Do not promise that a future or expanding platform rollout has already reached every model.
A practical sequence
- Search the app on the LG television’s current store.
- Compare the publisher and model/region availability.
- Use a supported alternative if no native listing is offered.
An example
An article mentioning expanding LG support does not guarantee that a particular older webOS television currently offers the application.
